WASH Engineer (Work-Based Consultant)

Reports to: Project Manager

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct technical assessments and design of small-scale WASH infrastructure (latrines, water supply systems, drainage, etc.).
• Prepare bills of quantity (BoQs), drawings, and cost estimates.
• Supervise construction and ensure quality control in line with standards.
• Build capacity of community groups (CDCs/LAs) on operation and maintenance.
• Support in integrating climate resilience and DRR principles in WASH interventions.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Bachelor’s in Civil or Environmental Engineering.
• At least 5 years’ experience in WASH or infrastructure projects.
• Field experience with NGOs or development projects is required.
