About the Role:

A humanitarian and Development organization is hiring a Project Manager for the Education project. The role involves overseeing overall project management that includes planning, coordination, execution, monitoring, and reporting of the project as well as lead the technical aspect of the project i.e., the enrolment of out-of-school children, promoting safe and inclusive learning, strengthening school management, and empowering girls, ensuring quality, gender-sensitive project delivery aligned with donor and organizational goals.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and execute activities across enrolment, GESI, girls' empowerment, and community outreach, ensuring timely delivery of targets.
• Build strong linkages with government, education departments, SMCs/PTCs, and local partners to ensure smooth collaboration and regular progress reviews.
• Manage and mentor project staff, deliver trainings on GESI and leadership, and strengthen grassroots capacities through ToTs and community engagement.
• Support MEAL systems, track KPIs, and produce high-quality reports that reflect progress, challenges, and impact narratives.
• Oversee budgets, manage grants, and ensure efficient use of resources while complying with donor and financial guidelines.
• Drive awareness campaigns, produce success stories and media content, and enhance project visibility through strategic communications.

Eligibility:

• Master’s degree in Education, Social Sciences, Development Studies, or a related field.
• 7 years of experience in managing and implementing education projects.
• Proven expertise in girls’ education, community mobilization, and working with government counterparts.

Required Skills and Competencies:

• Strong competencies in project management, budgeting, M&E, and leadership are essential.
• Fluency in English and the local language, and excellent communication skills are required.
• Familiarity with GESI principles, safeguarding, SBCC approaches, STEAM education, and experience engaging with school committees and local education authorities is highly desirable.
